History of Hartselle Enquirer
The Hartselle Enquirer’s history spans the era of hot lead type and printer’s devils to space age computer technology. It is a history closely paralleling the progress and change logged by Hartselle and Morgan County. Readers buy a newspaper for the stories in it. Few people probably realize that with every edition, a newspaper adds a chapter to its own story and to that of the community which it serves. Hartselle has boasted a weekly newspaper almost as long as it has been a town. The Enquirer you are reading now was launched with Volume 1, Number 1, on May 25, 1933. The Hartselle Enterprise, predecessor to the Hartselle Enquirer, was printed from sometime in the early 1900s to 1933.
