Ruby Nell Long McDaniel

A graveside service for Ruby Nell Long McDaniel, 81, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, February 22, at 12 noon at Memory Hills Garden in Tuscaloosa with Bro. Charles Shaddix officiating.
Visitation in Hartselle will be Monday, February 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home. There will be visitation at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Tuscaloosa just prior to the graveside service from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
Mrs. McDaniel died Saturday, February 19, 2011. She was born October 26, 1929, in Morgan County to W.M. Long and Willie Ada Allen Long. She retired from Hibernia National Bank of New Orleans, La. as Vice-President-Trust Officer.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Jo Baumy and husband Bryan of Covington, La. and Barbara ‘Cissy’ Pearson and husband Barry of Hartselle; a stepson, Skip McDaniel of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Willie W. Long of Lumberton, Tex. and A.D. Long of Quitman, La.; a sister, Dorothy Keller of Spring, Tex.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
