Westen Kenneth King observed his first birthday on Sept. 23 with a “Baby Animals” party at the home of his parents, Kent and Emily King of Hartselle.

He is the grandson of Scott and Melissa Moore of Somerville and Phillip and Winnona King of Hartselle.
