More accolades for Hartselle City Schools are rolling in.

F.E. Burleson Elementary School learned last week that it would receive the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse Award from the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence program. If you remember, this was the same award Barkley Bridge Elementary received last year.

Very few schools ever receive this award, but we have two recipients in Hartselle. Crestline Elementary is next in line to apply for it, followed by Hartselle High and Junior High schools.

We’d like to give the students, teachers, school administrators, parents and the entire community a pat on the back for earning this award.
