Funeral for Bobby Joe White, 75, of Hartselle will be Sat., March 24, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Oden and Floyd Bradford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Fri., March 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. White died Wed., March 21, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1937, in Morgan County to Woodrow White and Louise Smith White. He was a barber in Hartselle for 35 years and loved his job and his customers. He was a member of Hartselle Lions Club, loved gardening, fishing, camping and yard work. He was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Linda Atkins; a brother, Mike White; and a grandson, Jeremy Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Edna White of Hartselle; three sons, Joe D. White and wife Donna of Athens; Daryl Terry of Rocky Ford and Kevin Terry of Flint; a daughter, Pam Johnson and husband Terry of Falkville; two sisters, Pat Maze and husband Bill and Becky Russell and husband Don, all of Hartselle; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

His nephews, Tracy Maze, David Maze, Patrick Maze, Eric Russell, Matt Maze and Rusty White, will serve as pallbearers.
