Dear Editor:

What a treat it was to read the article on the German exchange students and their Alabama experiences. They were certainly shown “Southern Hospitality”. I can only imagine the thrill those girls got when Sarah Morris, owner of The Something Blue Shoppe and Something Blue, Too, let them pick out the dress of their choice to wear to the Hartselle Prom. That was a wonderful act of kindness because we all know how much that special dress means to a girl. Little did they realize that Sarah was giving them the dresses, not loaning them. This was a truly generous gift and I for one am very proud of Sarah’s kindness.
