Pearson, Cain plan for May wedding

Barry and Cissy Pearson of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Jo Pearson, to Brian Matthew Cain of Wetumpka, son of Mike and Tina Cain of Douglasville, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Clarence and Nell McDaniel and Bruce Pearson and the late Elouise Pearson and the late Nan Pearson of Tuscaloosa.

She is a 2008 graduate of Hartselle High School and a graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received a bachelor’s degree in social work and general business. She plans to continue her education at UA in May to pursue a master’s degree in social work.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Fran and Rose Hurst of Sumter, S.C., and William “Bill” and the late Gloria Cain of Fayetteville, N.C.

He is a 2007 graduate of Edgewood Academy and graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He is employed at Command Alkon Inc. in Birmingham as a programmer analyst.

The wedding will be May 12, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Hartselle. A reception will follow at Hartselle Tabernacle.
