Somerville Assembly yard sale to be held on May 5

I hope everyone has had a great couple of weeks. The weather has been awesome.A big thank you goes out to “Free Indeed” for all their help at the Benefit singing from Somerville Assembly. They did a great job singing. It was a blessing to all who attended.

A big hello and get well wishes go out to Mark Morrow, who underwent surgery recently. We wish for him a complete and speedy recovery.

We are also glad to report that Ben Chunn is back home recovering after a hospital stay and 21 days at River City Rehab after he had a fall. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Somerville Assembly will have a yard sale on Sat., May 5, from 7:30 a.m. until… It is located off Alabama 67 on Blevins Road in Somerville. Come by and browse.

Much love and happy birthday wishes go out to my granddaughter, Jeannie Moore. She will have a party on April 29, hosted by her grandmother, Vickey and her aunt, Ashley Daugette.

Several students from Cotaco School went to Camp McDowell for a week. Julie Daugette has attended for the past three years.

Somerville Assembly was very proud to have two visitors on Sunday.

Prayers go out this week for J.D. Williams, Bill Partridge, Mechelle Cook, Donna Orr, Rhonda Palmer, Norma Dempsey, Mark Morrow, Ben Chunn, Kevin Morrow, David Dudley and Mrytle Colley.

A big hello goes out to members of Soul Harbor Baptist Church, Pines Baptist, Colleen Moore, Neal Freeman, Mary Kibble, Frank and Martha Gravatt, W.D. Wray and Judy and all my faithful Somerville News readers.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Tracy Heatherly.

Prayers and get well wishes go out for Carrol Key’s father.

Sympathy goes out to Claudette Brothers on the passing of her mother, Minnie Jackson. Also to the Wray family on the passing of their mother, Gertrude Wray.

Wanda Taylor is back home after suffering from a stroke. Prayers go out for her recovery.

A benefit was held at Soggy Bottom Barn for Kelley Hand recently. With the benefit and other donations she was able to have her surgery.

A benefit will also be held at Soggy Bottom for Steve Wadell on April 28. He was involved in a four-wheeler wreck and is in a rehab center.

Brewer High School held its prom last week. It was very beautiful.

Get well wishes go out for Gina Raburn who had back surgery last week.

Vickey Daugette enjoyed having lunch with mary Nelson at Chick-Fil-A in Decatur recently.

Congratulations to Julie Daugette and Mercedes Ferguson for making the cheerleading team at Brewer for next year.

Congratulations to Ashley Daugette on the birth of a nephew recently. Baby Atlas and parents live in New York.
