Cerro Wire appoints Smallwood as contractor relations manager

Cerro Wire LLC, a leading manufacturer of copper electrical building wire and cable, announces that it has appointed Stewart L. Smallwood as Regional Contractor Relations Manager for the eastern United States.

In this role Smallwood will be responsible for building relationships that will enhance better understanding of Cerro’s Value Proposition in lowering customer’s costs, in developing new products and services to enhance business success.

Smallwood, an enthusiastic and innovator leader, has experience with many aspects of electrical distribution sales, including supply chain management, sales analysis, and sourcing strategy development. He has also worked in project-based environments which focused on client satisfaction and effective implementation.

Most recently Smallwood worked as a sourcing and inventory manager at Gexpro, where he was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with manufacturers throughout the Southeast. He also oversaw the negotiation, profiling, and setup of on-site customer projects, while developing stock strategies for several key Gexpro product lines.
