Locals complete challenge
Published 10:48pm Monday, July 2, 2012A team of six Hartselle residents competed in the Barbarian Challenge June 23 at Noccalula Falls in Gadsden. The team members ran an obstacle course that included challenges such as a crawl under a barbwire electric fence, climbing rocks, swimming in streams, tire throwing, a mud super slide, a smoke tent and jumping over hay hills. They are, from left, Lorie Knox, Melina Stafford, Julie Penney, Jamie Baker, Pam Berry and Phillip Bailey.
