Kinney, Hudson announce wedding

The Rev. and Mrs. Tim Kinney of Vinemont are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Kinney, to Wayne Hudson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hudson of Hanceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ollen Kinney of Vinemont, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Campbell of Eva and the late William Fowler of Eva.

Miss Kinney is a 2008 graduate of Brewer High School and a 2011 graduate of Athens State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is pursuing her master’s degree in library media at the University of West Alabama. She is currently employed with Webb Wheel, Inc., in Cullman.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Shelton of Bremen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hudson of Hanceville.

Mr. Hudson is a 2003 graduate of Hanceville High School, studied at Wallace State Community College and transferred to the University of Alabama where he will graduate in 2013 with a degree in operations management.

Brooke and Wayne will exchange vows on Aug. 4, 2012, in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Quail Creek Golf Resort in Hartselle with the Rev. Tim Kinney and the Rev. Danny Johnston presiding over the ceremony. A reception will follow at the Pavilion at Quail Creek.
