Ramey early qualifier for mayor of Falkville

Bob Ramey was an early qualifier for the Falkville mayor’s office this morning.

A former member of the town council, he is seeking a position currently held by Jimmie Walker, who has indicated he does not plan to seek reelection.

The mayor’s office and five council seats are up for election. Qualifying will continue at the City Clerk’s office from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays, through July 17.
