Prince awarded Army medal

Spc. Corey Prince of Hartselle was awarded the Army Achievement Medal while at mobilization training with the 1-167th Infantry Battalion’s Echo Company based in Talladega, Ala., for his performance at validation annual training at Ft. McClellan, Ala., earlier this year. The 1-167th and its units in Valley, Pelham, Sylacauga, Cullman, Oxford and Talladega are at Camp Shelby, Miss., preparing for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.
