A benefit singing for James L. Gray Jr. of Falkville will be held at Gurley’s Soggy Bottom Barn at 45 Peck Hollow Road in Somerville Sat., Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to midnight.
Gray is being treated for MDS and faces a 4-6 month stay in Houston, Texas. where he will receive a bone marrow transplant. The all-day musical event will feature gospel, country and rock music, including some of the best musicians and singers in the area. Admission is $5 per person with children 12 and under admitted free.
