Lady Hawks lose in quarterfinals

Danville went 3-1 in the West Morgan Tournament Saturday.

Danville swept Austin, Central-Tuscaloosa and West Limestone without dropping a set. However, the Lady Hawks fell 2-0 to Buckhorn in the quarterfinals. Charlee Anderson led the team with 86 assists and 22 digs, followed by Sydni Shelton with 55 kills, three blocks and 27 digs. Megan Luker added 26 kills and three blocks while Kellee Stiles had 27 digs and six aces for the Lady Hawks. Danville will travel to East Lawrence Thursday and to Addison on Tuesday.
