David and Lara Wallace of Hartselle are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Hope Wallace, to William Kurt Hamilton, son of Barry and Bobbie Hamilton of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wayne and Billie Ann Wallace of Northport, Eileen Money of Huntsville and James and the late Helen Glasscock of Cullman. She is a 2006 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2010 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management. She is employed by Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC working in the human resources department and is a member of the Decatur Jaycees and Hartselle First United Methodist Church.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Rick and the late Dean Hamilton of Decatur and Donald and Barbara McMeans of Athens. He is a 2005 graduate of Hartselle High School and attended Cumberland University. He is a Decatur City Police Officer, a member of the Decatur City Police SWAT Team and a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church.

The wedding will be held on Sept. 29, 2012, at Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
