Danville logs 1-1 record in tri-match

Danville’s Lady Hawks (10-6) split with Central Florence and Hatton in a volleyball tri-match at Hatton on Sept. 4.

They defeated Central 25-17, 25-22 before losing to Hatton, 25-20-20-25 and 25-22.

Statistical leaders were Sydni Shelton with 16 kills, 19 digs and four aces; Megan Luker with nine kills and four blocks; Kellee Stiles with eight blocks; Andrea Carter with three blocks and Sloan Lindsey with 12 digs.
