Danville volleyball falls in trimatch

Danville High School’s volleyball dropped to 12-8 on the season after losing back-to-back matches to Addison and Winston County on Sept. 11.

The Lady Hawks were defeated by Addison 23-25, 25-15, 15-7 and lost to Winston County 25-21, 26-24.

Leading Danville in combined scoring were Sydni Shelton with 26 kills, 17 digs and four aces; Megan Luker with nine kills, Andrea Carter with seven kills; Charlee Anderson with 40 assists and four aces; and Keilee Stiles with four aces.
