Falkville scores sweep in volleyball

Falkville High School’s volleyball team scored wins against Decatur Heritage and Elkmont in a tri-match on Sept. 11.
The Lady Blue Devils defeated Decatur Heritage 25-21, 26-24 and Elkmont 25-16, 25-10.
Emily Michelson paced the Blue Lady Blue Devils in scoring with 10 kills and four blocks. Other top scorers were Loren White with nine kills; Amber Riddle with 22 assists; Patricia Kilgore with 22 digs; Ashley Handley with nine digs; Amanda Muse with seven kills and six digs; and Trianna Drinkard with 18 digs and four kills.
