“I’m amazed that we have so much musical talent here,” Balch said. “At the audition we had no problem finding singers. And their talent has been confirmed during rehearsals.

“There’s never a dull moment in the show,” he added. “There’s great dialogue and fantastic songs, including patriotic favorites such as ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’ and ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home.’”

His assessment of the show’s quality was shared by three of the performers.

“It’s been a lot of fun dancing, singing and acting together,’ said Emily Amos, a chorus girl. “If the audience gets as much out of it as we have, it’ll be a blast for them, too.”

“The music is great and we’ve work hard to get everything just right,” Shayna Hess saod. “I believer the audience will really enjoy the show.”

Britney Lackey added, “I’ve been doing musicals since I was seven. This show has a lot of heart and it will entertain the audience.”

Other actors are listed as follows: Hunter King, Jamie McKelvey, Jessie Mashburn, Sidra McDonald, Kaitlyn Holmes, Whitney Lowery, Jenny Patterson, Cassidy Haney, Dr. Eric Mashburn, Jordan Wade, Trey Moody and Joshua Rhodes.

Admission is $10 and $8 for seniors.
