Graham Holland, 23, of Somerville was released from Huntsville Hospital after being airlifted from the wreck scene on Main Street near Halbrooks Road.
Kari Engle, 21, of Lacey’s Springs remains in Huntsville Hospital facing life-threatening injuries.
Hartselle Police Lt. Justin Barley said the 2001 Ford Explorer occupied by the victims was traveling on Main Street when it crashed near Halbrooks Road. Media reports indicated that the vehicle may have flipped.
While Barley doesn’t know if the victims were ejected from the vehicle, he does know that officers found them outside of the vehicle.
