Phillip Puckett

A graveside service for Phillip Puckett, 54, of Chattanooga, Tenn., was Sun., Oct. 21, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. J. Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Puckett died Fri., Oct. 19, 2012, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1958, in Morgan County to Joe Yancey Puckett and Peggy Jane Sharp Harris. Mr. Puckett was a graduate of the former Morgan County High School and a field engineer for ITT Courier Company.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by a son, Joseph Puckett of Georgia; a daughter, Heather Tarvis of Illinois; his father and stepmother; Joe Yancey and Carolyn Puckett of Hartselle; his stepfather, Don Harris of Decatur; a sister, Pamela Ann Owen of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
