Murder parolee arrested in Morgan County
A man who was out of parole for murder has been arrested on charges of drug possession following a traffic stop Tuesday.
A Morgan County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Tammy Street and Central Parkway in Decatur for traffic violations.
During a search of the driver, deputies located hydrocodone pills in his pocket.
Jeremy Termayne Story, 24, of Decatur was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The officers later found out that Story was on parole for murder.
