Lady Tigers notch third win at Decatur

Hartselle‘s Lady Tigers picked up their third win with a 32-30 decision over Decatur’s Lady Red Raiders on the road Nov. 27.

Sarah Horner sealed the win with a 3-point shot as time was running out.

The Lady Red Raiders held a 17-12 advantage at the half but Hartselle pulled ahead 26-25 on a lay up by Melissa Paul Hill at the end of the third period.

Allie Oden had a game-high 10 points for Hartselle while Constance Steele paced Decatur with 12 points.

The Lady Tigers fell to the Lawrence County Lady Red Devils, 36-25, in a road game on Friday night.

Jessica Matthews led Hartselle with nine points.

Rachel Williams had a game-high 16 points for the Lady Red Devils while Adrien Coffey followed with eight points and nine rebounds.
