Basket Brigade returns for Christmas
Chappell’s Family Karate & Jujitsu students and their parents are once again taking part in the Chappell Basket Brigade. This is the 8th year of having this event for the community.
A typical basket will include a Bible, turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, vegetables, dinner rolls, a dessert, soft drinks and a roasting pan-all to make a fantastic dinner. Each dinner will cost $40.
On Sat., Dec. 22nd students, parents and volunteers will meet at the Osborne Warren and Oden Recreational Center in Hartselle to package the dinners. Once all of the food has been put in the boxes, the boxes will be loaded into vehicles and the deliveries will begin.
In the past dinners have been delivered to families in Hartselle, Falkville, Eva, Decatur, Somerville, Danville, Priceville, Cullman and Lacey’s Spring.
