Funeral for Mary Jo Knighten Jennings, 75, of Lacey’s Spring will be Sat., Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Cotaco United Methodist Church with Bro. John Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour before the service. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 14, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jennings died on Wed., Dec. 12, 2012, at her residence. She was born Sept. 27, 1937, in Morgan County to Virgil “Mutt” Alvin Knighten and Jessie Lee (Lenox) Knighten. Mrs. Jennings was a member of
Cotaco Untied Methodist Church. She was a strong, hardworking, Christian woman, who loved the Lord and loved all of her family. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Gene Jennings, and her parents.

She is survived by a son, Timothy Charles Jennings and wife Tammie; two daughters, Stephanie Ann Jennings Carden and Tina Inez Jennings Huskey and husband Jackie; a brother, Virgil Wayne Knighten and wife Doris; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Morgan, Joshua Jennings, Ethan Huskey, Greg Knighten, Jason Knighten and Stacey Knighten.
