Inez Crow

Funeral for Inez Crow, 94, of Decatur was Sat., Dec., 22, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 21, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crow died Wed., Dec. 19, 2012, at River City Care & Rehab. She was born July 3, 1918, in Morgan County to Jefferson Davis Taylor and Mary Clarissa Whitten Taylor. She was a homemaker and was married to Thomas Emmanuel Crow for 72 years until his death in 2004 at the age of 94.

She is survived by three sons, Dewitte Crow and wife Libby of Somerville, Bobby Crowe of Decatur, Ga. and Bill Crowe and wife Priscilla of Surf City, N.C.; two daughters, Mary Lemmond of Decatur and Carole Hankins and husband Murphy of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren, Teresa Lemmond Wright of Decatur, Lonnie Lemmond, Jeff Lemmond, Tommy Crowe and Beth Lemmond, all of Hartselle, Cam Crowe Emerson, Darlene Crowe Grantland, Tim Mote and Greg Mote, all of Somerville, Melissa Mote Suits of New Orleans, La., and Keith Crowe of Nashville, Tenn.; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Lemmond, Jeff Lemmond, Tommy Crowe, Tim Mote, Greg Mote and Keith Crowe.

Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
