Harron to address Women’s ConnectionPublished 10:39am Wednesday, December 26, 2012
Women’s Connection will meet at the Decatur Country Club on Fri., Jan. 4, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a lunch, informative feature and inspirational speaker.
The special feature will be Barb Hill of Florence. She is a credit coach, speaker, mentor and author of “Let’s Talk: What You Don’t Know About Your Credit Can Hurt You.” Come and learn about the elusive credit score, how it is calculated, how too many inquiries can adversely affect your credit score and how to get established or re-established in the world of credit.
The inspirational speaker will be Jean Harron of Columbus, Ga. She is a tour guide, retired realtor, artist, former army wife and mother of five daughters. Jean is a busy and multi-talented lady. She does calligraphy for brides and new moms and still finds time to do oil paintings; she loves to go “antiquing and junking” for items on which to paint. In school she was called “Horse” by her friends because of her love of riding horses – every day. She even missed her prom to ride in a rodeo! She loves reading and traveling and still leads historic tours of Ft. Benning and Riverside Plantation.
There are no dues or membership costs. The cost of the luncheon is $15 and complimentary child care is available if requested ahead of time.
For reservation, contact Ruby Goff at (256) 751-4045 (Goff804@bellsouth.net) or Betty Hoffman at (256) 355-7182 (email@example.com) by Wed., Jan. 2. Reservations should be honored, cancelled or used by a friend.
