Hartselle High School’s wrestling team swept three opponents at a wrestling meet in Fultondale Thursday night.

The Tigers defeated Pelham High School 36-31 in their first dual and put away Shelby County High school 54-30 in the second dual.

In the nightcap, the Tigers pulled off a thrilling 42-41 victory over host Fultondale.

Hartselle was down 41-24 with three matches to go. Clint Bender pinned his opponent and Oliver Duncan won by default. Then Taylor Wilson (heavyweight) pinned his opponent to give the Tigers their one-point win.
