Harold Watts

Funeral for Harold Watts, 76, of Decatur will be Wed., Jan. 9, (today), at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with James Watts officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Turney Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Watts died Fri., Jan. 4, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Parkway Campus.  He was born March 16, 1936, in Morgan County to Will Watts and Annie Powell Watts. He was formerly a roofer for Morgan Roofing. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Loyd Watts; and three sisters, Helen Thomas, Lois Morgan and Opal Suther.

He is survived by two sons, Andy Watts, of Florida and “JR” Harold Watts of Hartselle; two daughters, Joyce Watts Sullivan of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Christina Ash of Trinity; two sisters, Marie Kaylor of Decatur and Ruby Makemson of Gardendale; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
