A memorial service for Starla Jean Jennings, 49, of Gadsden will be held at a later date by her family.

Ms. Jennings died on Thur., Jan. 17, 2013, at Coosa Valley Health Care in Glencoe. She was born June 18, 1963, in Chicago, Ill., in Cook County.

She is survived by a son, Riley Murphy of Cullman; a daughter, Tamra Clemons of Hartselle; three brothers, Joe Jennings of Priceville, Dewayne Jennings of Athens and Rodney Jennings of Hartselle; a sister, Karen Hayes “Cricket” of Priceville; and a grandchild, Zoey Taylor.
