Hartselle High School’s varsity wrestling team finished in sixth place among 12 teams at the Dick Clem Invitational at Bob Jones High School on Monday.

Three Hartselle Tigers medaled in their respective weight classes in the scramble format. Logan Smith placed first and Clint Bender and Oliver Duncan each came in third.

Hartselle also competed in a meet at Grissom High School on Saturday. The varsity dropped three of their duals; however, junior varsity and middle school wrestlers were more successful their tournaments.

Cade Hendrickson and John Holt each came out on top in their weight classes while Levi McDaniel finished fourth.

The Tigers will travel to Scottsboro on Thursday night for duals against Scottsboro and Oxford.
