Funeral for Opal Louise Fricks, 81, of Falkville will be Sat., Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Tucker officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Feb. 1, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fricks died Mon., Jan. 28, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born March 6, 1931, in Winston County to Henry Lindley and Gladys (Jones) Lindley. Mrs. Fricks was formerly employed at Falkville Healthcare Center as a kitchen worker and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Fricks, and her parents.
She is survived by four sons, Robert Fricks and wife Barbara of Falkville, Doyle W. Fricks and Johnny A. Lindley, both of Huntsville, and Ronnie R. Lindley of Tennessee; a daughter, Tammy M. Dettman and husband John of California; four brothers, Billy Lindley and wife Betty and Henry Lindley Jr., all of Falkville, Joe Lindley of Hartselle and Marshall Lindley and wife Cynthia of Danville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
