Hartselle’s boys team will experience a change of pace under new head coach Reagan Rhone, who is replacing Darrell Harris.

They team lost five key starters, but Giber Gonzalez who scored nine goals a year ago returns. Other key returners are Jacob Pohl, Will Payne, Mitch Warren, Ian Cummins, Brad Nix and Eli Bair.

“We have a deep bench this year thanks to a good JV team last year and all the returning varsity players,” Rhone said. “Our biggest challenge will be making it out of our section. After the AHSAA realignment, four of the five teams in our section were playoff teams last year.”
