Tiger soccer takes bronze title

- The Hartselle High School varsity boys soccer team won the Bronze division of the Lakeshore Shootout in Birmingham. Members of the 2013 Hartselle boys soccer team are Cameron Carlisle, Giber Gonzalez, Daniel Hundley, Hunter Hammack, Eli Bair, Mitch Warren, Eribel Escobar, Ethan Partlow, Brock Hickman, Austin Davis, Cordell Hayes, Garrett Marsh, Lorenzo Falzone (manager), Aguedo Gonzalez (manager), Culver Martin (manager), Will Payne, Cayce Stewart, Jacob Pohl, Tray Fanning, Ian Cummins and Brad Nix. The team is coached by Reagan Rhone.
On Feb. 16, the Hartselle High School varsity boys soccer team won the bronze division of the Lakeshore Shootout in Birmingham.
The Tigers defeated Shades Valley High School 4-1, Gardendale 5-0 and Pell City 2-0.
They tied Montgomery Academy 2-2 in their final game.
Cameron Carlisle scored four goals over the weekend, including a hat trick Feb. 15 against Gardendale, and was named MVP of the division.
