Baby of Falkville mom tests positive for marijuana

A Falkville mother turned herself into police Wednesday after her baby, who was born in January, tested positive for marijuana.
Latosha Marie Logsdon, 26, of 571 Wilson Mountain Road in Falkville was charged with chemical endangerment of a child. She is being held in the Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
On Jan. 24, the Morgan County Department of Human Resources reported to the Decatur Police Department that a baby born at Decatur Morgan Hospital had tested positive for marijuana.
At the conclusion of the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Logsdon, the mother of the infant. On Feb. 27, Logsdon turned herself in to the Decatur Police Department. She was booked into the Decatur City Jail and later transferred to the Morgan County Jail.
