Curtis Russell hit a an RBI single in the final inning to give Hartselle a 5-4 win over Bob Jones on Friday.

Russell finished with two RBIs for the game.

Collings Hanners and Dustin Stephenson both had RBIs in the game. Tate Mathis and Cason Wallace had stolen bases.

Mathis got the win in relief for Jake Nelson. Both pitchers had two strikeouts.

Cullman 7, Hartselle JV 5

Hartselle had seven hits on offense, but five errors on defense doomed the Tigers.

Curtis Russell led the Tigers with two hits and an RBI. Holden Langston had two RBIs while Cason Wallace added another.

Cooper Wright and Colin Hanners also turned double plays.

Jake Nelson had four strikeouts in a losing effort.
