Danville girls win at Falkville

Danville’s Lady Hawks scored a run in each of the first three innings and went on to defeat Falkville 5-0 on the toad on March 12.
Shelby Beck paced the win with three singles while Andrea Carter had a double and single. Hanna Grace Sherrill, Bailey King, Morgan Weatherwax, and Michelle Clem each had a single.
Savannah Bolton (7-1) pitched her first shutout of the season. She allowed four hits while striking out 10 and walking one batter.
The win boosted Danville’s season record to 9-2.
