“Treasures in Heaven” Yard Sale set at FUMC March 23

First United Methodist Church in Hartselle is gathering unneeded clothing and household furnishings for its third annual “Treasures in Heaven” Yard Sale.

The event will be held on Sat., March 23, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain or shine) in the church’s Ministry Center.

Donations will be accepted at the Ministry Center on Thurs., March 21, and Fri., March 22, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For pickup of large items on Fri., March 22, please call the Hope House at 256-565-0760.

All proceeds from the sale will be used to support local and overseas missions.

Local church missions will receive 50 percent and the remaining 50 percent will go to the Jesse Brooks Foundation in Africa and the Lee and Gracie Murphree missions in Honduras.

“The “Treasures in Heaven” Yard Sale was started two years ago and has raised nearly $30,000 for missions.
