Charles Harry Henry

Funeral for Charles Harry Henry, 77, of Hartselle will be Mon., April 1, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Mon., April 1, from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Henry died Thur., March 28, 2013. He was born June 2, 1935, in Morgan County to Edgar William Henry and Mary Ethel Turner Henry. He was a retired from the State of Alabama after 35 years, working for the Highway Department. He was a long time member of the Falkville Lions Club, where he volunteered for the charities which it supports. He also was supportive of school sports and community activities. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Albert Henry, Robert Henry, Roy Joe Henry and Dalton Henry and a sister, Gladys Knox.

He is survived by two brothers, James Henry and wife Eldis of Falkville and Howard Henry of Lorain, Ohio; a sister, Cozie Holmes of Hartselle; and a special friend, Jane Imbusch of Cullman.

Pallbearers will be will be nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations be made to the Falkville Lion’s Club, 255 Bramlett Road, Falkville, AL 35622 or to your favorite charity.
