Claudine Smith Ball

Funeral for Claudine Smith Ball, 78, Hartselle will be Tues., April 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Virgel Crisp officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Mon., April 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ball died Sat., April 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Morgan County to Grady L. Smith and Alma Neomi Pate Smith. Mrs. Ball was a long time member of Hartselle First Church of the Nazarene. She was retired from Prestolite in Decatur after 33 years of service and she was a breast cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Leldon Ball.

She is survived by four children, Angie Wilemon and husband Tim of Warrior, Randy Ball, Linda Nelson and husband J.R. both of Hartselle and Michel Ball and wife Debbie of Madison; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Dena Childers.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
