Sheriff gives SNAP big donation

Published 3:15pm Tuesday, April 9, 2013

Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin, left, donated $2,500 to the John Mark Stallings Special Needs Accessible Playground in Hartselle. Accepting the donation is Bob Francis, center, project manager for SNAP of Morgan County. Sheriff’s deputy Larry Berzett looks on. Franklin said the money she donated to the SNAP project was raised during the Morgan County Sheriff’s Rodeo, which also featured a Special Needs Rodeo. The proceeds from the rodeo go to help fund next year’s Special Needs Rodeo and other projects in the county such as SNAP. For more information on SNAP, log on to www.snapplayground.org.
