Danville 8, Priceville 4

Kellee Stiles was 2-for-2 with four RBIs to lead the Lady Hawks against Priceville in the Morgan County Softball Tournament Friday afternoon.

Danville will play Hartselle at noon on Saturday.

Callie Ryan, Shelby Beck and Auburn Morris each had two hits. Both of Ryan’s hits were doubles, allowing her to drive in a run and score twice. Beck had a double and two RBIs.

Hannah Grace Sherrill and Sloan Lindsey added hits for the Lady Hawks.

Weatherwax struck out six batters en route to the win. She allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk. Danville committed four errors for the game.

For Priceville, Alison Varner was 3-for-3 and needed just a double to complete the cycle. She scored all three times she got on base.

Amber Johnson and Brittany Marks added two hits apiece, with Marks driving in two runs. McKenzie Parker and Emily Williams got the other hits for the Lady Bulldogs.

Erin Payne took the loss allowing seven earned runs on 10 hits and four walks.
