Lori Renae Smith and Justin Aaron Kelso

Gail and Jerry Smith of Arab announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Renae Smith, to Justin Aaron Kelso, son of Lynn Kelso of Hartselle and the late Roger Kelso.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy and Laverne Brooks of Arab and Lillian Smith of Arab and the late Elton Smith. She is a 2000 Arab High School graduate and has a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. She was in the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and Delta Zeta Sorority. She currently works as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Huntsville Hospital.

The prospective groom is the grandson of A.D. Hargrove and Judy Hargrove, both of Hartselle and the late John and Mildred Kelso.

. He is a 2000 graduate of Hartselle High School and has a management degree from Athens State University. He currently works as a logistics management specialist at AMCOM.

The wedding will be May 18, 2013, at the Botanical Garden.
