Funeral for Jerry Kenneth West, 62, of Somerville will be Mon., May 06, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Vandon Winsor and Al Dean officiating.

Burial will be in Turney Family Cemetery.

Mr. West died Fri., May 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born Nov. 30, 1950, to Marvin Roy and Essie Lango West. He was a member of the Somerville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Fred Hatfield and Bobby Joe Hatfield.

He is survived by his wife, Opal West; two sons, James Kenneth West and wife Katrinae and Eric Dwight West and wife Shannon, both of Somerville; a daughter, Stacy Lynn West McMinemon and husband Mac of Somerville; five brothers, Marvin West, Jimmy West, Avery West, Raymond Hatfield and Robert Hatfield; three sisters, Nancy Kent, Kathrine Smith and Evelyn Patterson; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lance Sandlin, Anthony Laster, Shane Dooley, Mark Hatfield, Alex Kent and Clayton Hensley. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Hospital.
