The Hartselle Enquirer staff received first place in APA’s Better Newspapers Contest for the following categories: Best Lifestyle/Family Pages, Best Classified Page or Section, Creative Use of Multimedia and General Web Excellence.

In addition to these, the Enquirer received second-place awards in the following categories: Best One-Time Special Section, Best Classified Display Ad, Best Photo Essay, Best Niche Publication, Best Signature Page, Best Presentation Of Online Advertising, Best Online Advertising Campaign, Best Online Revenue Builder and Best Innovative Online Advertising.

The Enquirer also received third place in Best Public Service for its coverage of the athletic facilities at the new Hartselle High School.

“I am proud of the hard work of our staff to earn these accomplishments,” said publisher Randy Garrison. “These awards just highlight their efforts during the past year and we will continue to do our best to cover Hartselle and Morgan County.

“We would also like to thank our readers and advertisers for their continued support. Without them, none of this would have been possible.”
