American Legion Auxiliary state president Dot Beard installed the new officers for Post 52 auxiliary. They are president Nancy Train, senior vice president Denise Posey, secretary Beverly Train, treasurer Michella Martin, chaplain Michelle Adkins and sergeant of arms Christina Newberry.

The American Legion Auxiliary held its state convention June 21-23 in Huntsville. Eight women and two juniors attended.

The post’s juniors received the patchwork for which they worked very hard. Junior Amber Train received a special national award.

The women and juniors all had a great time.

A bake sale will be today, July 3, in Priceville. The group is trying to raise money for veterans and their families.

Auxiliary members ask that the public come by and buy some baked goods to support veterans.
