Church Calendar for July 3

First Independent Methodist Church, located at 3 Oxmore Flint Road in Decatur, will host The Voice of Truth Quartet from Kentucky Mountain Bible College at 10:30 a.m.

 

Hopewell Baptist, located at 416 Hopewell Road in Danville, will have a Fourth of July celebration, Sun., July 7, from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be free barbecue, snow cones, cotton candy and door prizes. They will have a water slide, bouncey house and other games for kids of all ages. Entertainment includes Dixie Flavor, Southern Heritage and other country, bluegrass and gospel bands. McKendree United Methodist Church, located at 795 Hwy. 55 S in the Massey community, will host Summer Breeze Women’s Retreat Sat., July 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nicole Vaughn, author of “Devotions from Genesis” and “Devotions from Exodus” and founder of Proven Path Ministries, will be speaking along with April Pearson, founder of Basket Case Ministries. There will also be special music from Brenda Follette. The retreat is free and lunch is provided.

 

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Falkville will have a revival July 14-17. Service times are Sunday night at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m. nightly. Evangelist will be Bro. Johnny Tucker with special music each night. Supper will be served on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

 

First Independent Methodist Church in Decatur will host leader training for four weeks beginning Tues., July 16, at 6:30 p.m.

First Independent Methodist Church in Decatur will have a men’s Bible study each Tuesday starting at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Hal at the annex building. Bring cans for the can trailer every Sunday or Wednesday. Proceeds go towards youth camp.

 

Life House Assembly of God, located at 144 County Road 1212 in Vinemont, holds weekly services on the following schedule: Sunday morning worship and Kid Zone children’s church at 11 a.m. and Wednesday night Bible study at 6 p.m.
