The Hartselle Summer Reading Program’s “Dig in and Read” theme continued July 17 with a Dog Days of Summer session. Ninety-one kids learned about dog safety, pet care and proper treatment of different types of dogs. Friends of the library brought their own dogs to interact with the kids.
