William Therman Holcomb

Funeral for William Therman Holcomb, 72, of Eva will be Wed., July 24, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church with Bro. Tim Aris and Bro. Albert Estes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bethel Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues., July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Holcomb died Mon., July 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born Dec. 31, 1940, in Morgan County to Jessie Elvin Holcomb and Kimmie Josephine Smith Holcomb. Mr. Holcomb was a member of Daniel’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Sonoco Wood Reels in the Maintenance Department. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Totsie Green Holcomb of Eva; two sons, William Terry Holcomb and Phillip Delane Holcomb, both of Eva; three daughters, Gladys Renay Donaldson of Eva, Kimberly Faye Hall of Hayden and Cynthia Ruth Puckett of Falkville; three sisters, Mazine Morgan of Eva, Catherine Moore of Cullman,Mary Floyd of Blountsville;16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granchild.

Pallbearers will be Randy Bates, Michael Bates, Jessie Morgan, William Morgan, Jeff Floyd, Randy Praytor and Jason Taylor.
